Saudia in Thailand
On the 28th of February 2022 marked a new chapter for two Kingdoms, Saudi Arabia and Thailand. Saudia Airlines set of tires touched Suvarnabhumi Airport’s runway. Greeted by a water salute behind the backdrop of an orange sunset, SV846, from Riyadh to Bangkok, was the beginning of bilateral ties between the two countries for three decades. The flight was greeted by the Minister of Tourism, the ambassador of Thailand in Saudi Arabia, as well as executives from Saudia Airlines Headquarter came to gather to celebrate the historic moment.
Saudia begins its operations with three flights a week and plans to add more flights within the two nations to enable growth in tourism and business opportunities.
